Tara Paints Pvt Ltd. Established in 1977 at Vatva GIDC, Ahmedabad & currently running with 47 Years of experience under the registered trademark of “TARALAC” brand. In the year 2004, as a part of the expansion, the unit shifted to Changodar industrial area, near Ahmedabad & today the unit is spread in 71,000 square meter land area with more than 1,00,000 square feet constructed production area.
The year 2017, the new state of the art plant constructed in a record time of 8 months for the production capacity of 1200 mt/month with mezzanine floor system & automized batching systems to meet the multiple product range with higher output.
The year 2018, Multifunction Advanced Integrated SAP system, with HRMS, CRM, Online portal & Mobile App system was completed & functional to cater the internal work optimization as well as to line up the branches, customer, consumers & for the smooth flow of the Business process to strengthen the management information systems.
A well equipped 7000 square feet lab area, with segregated labs for the Pilot process, Advanced testing, Applications testing, the Production & QC lab were set up for product QA & R&D. We became the first paint company to be certified with “ZED certification”. Apart from above, the company is certified with ISO9001:2015, OSHAS18001:2007.
Various product certifications such as WARS for portable water pipeline, Reach & Lead-free certification for Wood coating products, FDA certification for packaging coating and various other product wise certifications are also obtained.

Aug 1977
Foundation day of Tara Paints & Chemicals at C/91/20, Vatva, Ahmedabad by our founder Mr. Sumatilal Doshi.

We started our Unit 2 at 5309, Phase 4, Vatva, Ahmedabad.
1989

1992
NC Clear became our first most successful wood coating product in the market.

Melamine wood finish developed, which increased our market share in wood coatings segment.

Our director Mr. Ritesh Doshi joined the team at Tara paints Pvt Ltd.

We started our third Unit At 62/788, Vatva, Ahmedabad for warehousing purpose.

Feb 2004
Shifted to new plant at Moraiya with initial capacity of 1,50,000 Ltrs per month, combining all 3 Units of Vatva. Started our 1st branch at Mumbai (Maharashtra) for further development.

Started our 2nd branch at Udaipur (Rajasthan).

Restarted our Nc & Enamel shades range.
